it's been...

hectic! absolutely chaos at home and even when we're out.
Kd boy is now 8 months and Khalis is almost 2half. I never go out alone with them anymore, I definitely need an extra hand. They're monsters! =D
Khalis is quite controllable when we're out and he's pretty mindful and holds my hands or stay closeby. Although there were times when he would just run ahead esp when there's a ramp for him to go "whhheeee!!"

I often use the wristband for safety and yes I do get stares from strangers and I can hear them whispering or giggling when they see me tugging at my toddler when he goes the opposite way. There was once I heard a lady laughing to her husband and exclaiming that I look like I was walking a dog! Oh the agony of having to hear that!! Is this why we have missing children in public places? It's definitely not wrong to use whatever method you can to ensure the safety of your child (esp the active ones!) in crowded public places.

Anyway, back to my (ahem!) monsters... they can be perfect lil' angels one minute and wreakage pros the next. The one thing that blows my top everytime is when they become 'poopy babies'.. yup it's a plot they planned to drive mummy higher up the wall! It's bad enough when one poos and keeps quiet about it; it's double the frustration when the little one makes a big number himself! And usually it's when I have already given them their baths, smelling clean and fresh ready for bed. If that isn't a plot, I dunno what that is...

On a brighter note, Kd is crawling along nicely and has started to stand and cruise. He's such a cutie when he tries to grab our attention and crawls to either one of us with a big grin on his face. Sometimes I feel super guilty when I have to walk away to attend to his brother, leaving him sitting there looking questioningly and forlorn... I try to spend as much cuddletime with him as I possibly can. He enjoys it when I read to him and it tickles me when he laughs while kicking his legs high up in the air or when he tries to take food out of my mouth with his mouth and ends up slobbering all over my face!

Khalis is a chatterbox... even when he's about to fall asleep he has something to tell us! always talking and asking us to do things for him with a cute "please" at the end. And for a 2 year old, he does have a pretty rich vocab! At times we tell him to have a 'rest time' just so we can have some peace but it usually lasts for a mere 3 minutes or so! =D He's in his terrible two phase and some days can be very trying but when he comes over and gives me a big hug, a fish-lipped kiss and a "yove you" with his big adorable eyes looking up at me, all my frustrations seem to melt away... aahhh the pleasures of getting away with it while you're still a kid! =D
